Detective Conan- Tattoo You - First Draft
My childhood memories of Detective Conan courses through my everyday life for Anime made me who I am today. Detective Conan anime/manga is one of the top longest ongoing series in the present world. I first discovered it in my primal youth as I was introduced to anime from my elder brother. Detective Conan illustrates the conforming story of a high school detective/Sherlock Holmes fanatic of which in the first episode ending got made to swallow a experimental murder drug that caused the main protagonist to turned into a adolescent by a dark organization. The story itself is of him solving crime and seeing that truth always prevails while protecting his love one’s and trying to find a way back to his original form as also to finding the Black Organization. This tattoo portrays that of Edogawa Conan and Kudou Shinichi is being interconnected by that of the APTX-4869 drug. The drug in which that caused the story in the anime/manga to be set in motion. With that entailed this tattoo is showing the conforming details of the past and present is interlinked by that of one event even this is true in reality. For me, this true as this has happened to me from a major standpoint. In all honesty; I might never get myself a tattoo, but this image, this tattoo conforms with my view of this vast universe as it display that of the chain reaction of life that proceeds from events small or big.
Tattoo’s often are an outlet for people to express themselves or a reminder of their past. Life, life is often times difficult as such losing someone near us or even a significant event that causes dread and pity can affect us the people. This gave rise to wanting to express one’s past. While there’s also the political stance of reminding what we despise. For instance, the School Mass shooting is one where one can get a no guns tattoo. That’s why numerous people pride themselves on expressing themselves of their stance of worldly events or their past. Even people who like anime, video games, or even movies express themselves through tattoos. The tattoos themselves could be just the fans or viewers expressing that they love the show or there is more to the reason why they receive that. Such as for me if I had to personify myself with a tattoo it should express my internal longing and love of my childhood of which raised me to become who I am. Detective Conan is that tattoo which personifies my youth as for in past this show was what taught me moral values and got me through my dreary times. This anime or show is a part of my history as it is me and it is my story. Most often times tattoo’s should be a representation towards who we are.
The Detective Conan Tattoo visual focus or main attraction would be that of the double contrast of both characters or singular character. As both character's are one singular being that is why there is a double contrast as being that of a shadow. Colors in the tattoo would be the colorful color such as blue, red, white, brown, and skin color on Conan Edogawa as this is the main characters presiding body as of the current/present time frame of the world in the anime. While his real body Kudou Shinichi is that of a rust or tinge red orange color showing that of the past. While the presiding shadowy cosmic surrounding the character bodies are the malevolent effect of the APTX-4869 drug that cause him to have that of a adolescent's body. How or what the perception was shown it was intended to give a surrounding atmosphere of the main characters transition to who he was and who he is physically now to everyone that see it. The anime first released in 1996 while the manga itself released in 1994 just this also summarized how many has seen and read this in their childhood or even now.
This tattoo of Detective Conan resonates with me. As it is a big part of my past in which created the present me as it taught me moral values and the dark heart of humans. For instance, years ago my moral compass was tested as I was pressured and being bribed by my family to lie in court, but I remember Detective Conan which was one of the two things that made me to stay on a moral path as I resisted and stayed truthful. Everyone has a past of which was bad or good, but some may still want something to remember it. That’s why some would incorporate a tattoo or branding of sort to recall those events in time. As for my stance in getting a tattoo is neutral as it really depends on if I truly in all honesty want it.Even then I dislike it if it is to excessive on the body as some people would cover themselves entirely. In my perspective, one’s past is what attribute to who we become. With that I believe it just depends on the chance, feelings, and occasion of said pertaining time that would a person might say yes on getting a tattoo.
